The TVOUT-CTRL is a synthesizable core which
implements a video display controller compatible with the ITU-R BT601 / BT656 recommendation.
The VDAC interface from TVOUT-CTRL is compatible with Analog Devices ADV7174/79 encoder video chip. It accepts three different input formats and produces 4:2:2 YCrCb pixel data format. It also can generate all of the required horizontal and vertical timing periods: horizontal and vertical front porch, back porch and sync intervals. The core is developed for reuse in ASIC and FPGA implementations.
